Removing "evidence" by banned users is SOP; I didnt even read it so I have no idea what you wrote, nor am I going to take the time to read it. If you think you have something to add, you should pass it onto a user who isnt banned, such as VartanM, who can review and distil it down to what is appropriate to add. Your direct involvement on Wikipedia is not wanted. |

06:02, 26 February 2008 | WP:RFCU/Case/AdilBaguirov | new request | "kick off another one", the 7th request, to check AdilBaguirov and Ehud Lesar, and a few other possible users that Fadix requested checked. In the arbcom case Ehud Lesar arbitration case (t) (ev / t) (w / t) (pd / t), a laundry list of possibly related users has been raised here, and more specific accusations are being raised here The above list of usernames is all of the usernames/IP mentioned in that diff. VartanM might like to add more here. |

06:05, 26 February 2008 | User talk:Rlevse | new comment | Ehud case: Hi Rlevse, yesterday Didodo (a sock of AA banned user Fadix) added some evidence to the Ehud proposed decision talk page, I blocked and reverted. Now VartanM (good standing user, no issue there) has restored Fadix comments, endorsing them himself. As a result, I think it should probably stay even though it was a banned user. I've quickly scanned it, and it is relevant to Adil, so I've kicked off a formal CU here. |
06:09, 26 February 2008 | WT:RFAR/Ehud_Lesar/Proposed_decision | comment | In reply to VartanM, "I've kicked off a CU request here as this needs to be sorted out to ensure we end up with the right outcome." |
07:49, 26 February 2008 | WP:RFCU/Case/AdilBaguirov | comment | reply to CU Alison, "The Ehud case is about the link between Ehud and Adil, so I am not expecting CU to issue a new finding between them. The evidence presented includes many, many usernames, because everyone is trying to provide links that could eventually join Ehud and Adil more conclusively, so many of these could be very tangential to the case. Also, these theories are not going to go away unless there is a thorough CU. Any links between these users need to be in the open so that the parties and pundits know which links are valid and which arn't.
Also, this involves Wikisource, so a steward is also required, and an existing RFCU is also involved. If this results in any new evidence (conclusive or otherwise), the arbs will no doubt double check it." |

08:10, 26 February 2008 | User_talk:Didodo | comment | "As I said, you should have passed your information onto another user who isnt banned. VartanM has now restored it, which is good enough for me.
I am not acting as a robot, it is merely that you are banned, and I trust that Arbcom did the right thing in banning you. Please, endure your ban in silence, or better yet get involved in another Wikimedia project, and I will personally welcome you back at the end of a year. btw, I've not slung mud on those users; I issued a short block to Fedayee and questioned the events surrounding Khoikhoi's block. That is all." |

14:54, 26 February 2008 | WP:RFCU/Case/AdilBaguirov | edit | add "69.143.131.204" to be checked: Sorry to augment this request; there is concern that there is malice in my omission of IP address 69.143.131.204, so I've now added it; this diff should explain why it is being included. I omitted it because I didnt see that it need to be listed - AFAICS either it is an IP address of that user, and the CU will have noticed and included it in their analysis, or it isn't the IP address of that user. Anyway, this request is about clarity, so I request a little more. |

15:36, 27 February 2008 | User_talk:Didodo | comment | The people jumping to conclusions is those who believe that I was directed or assisted by Grandmaster on the Antranikpasha case. I have clearly stated what limited involvement he had in it, and it is the truth. There is of course little that can be done to prove or disprove what I say conclusively, but a user in good standing could ask lar for his personal opinion on that (privately perhaps).
You believe I should have my sysop capabilities removed, yet nobody has ever come to me with a rationale explanation of what action I have done that is inappropriate, and been willing to discuss it with me like a rationale human being. I have undone a few of my admin actions, and will do so again if someone can persuade me. But long jumbled requests, esp. when full of bad faith and accusations of gross negligence, are not something I take seriously. I do not have bad feelings towards any set of users, and I dont do actions on behalf of others; I always carefully review the options and act on my own volition irrespective of what pressure is applied from various sides of a debate. Returning to your query of "WHY O WHY DID I DO THAT", I clearly stated on the CU that I was listing every IP/username found in the mentioned diff, and that is what I did - it seemed like the simplest way to ensure that there was nothing missed, but I left the door open for VartanM to augment the request. I didnt realise the IP address was so important; I omitted it initially because listing it there, and having a CU confirm it, makes it easier for people to find it, which means that users privacy is reduced a little bit. Can you provide diffs where Rovoam states that he is not Armenian? Grandmaster has already requested that Rovoam be analysed as well, and I am pretty sure that the Checkusers will check it against all other parties, including Adil. Keep in mind that it is possible that Rovoam's editing history is no longer kept on the servers, and the checkusers may not have retained the IPs, so it might be that it cant be checked. I will not add Atabek to the current CU request, as I have no reason to suspect there is anything fishy there. If VartanM wants to add it, I have no objection, but the CU might if he doesnt provide adequate rationale. Note that comments like "That Grandmaster does make such a request seems again to be a diversion." are not very useful - there are infinite theories that could be written about any action or non-action. Lets stick to what you can back with evidence. If you do that, and stay civil, I'll keep acting on whatever useful information you provide. |

02:46, 28 February 2008 | User_talk:Didodo | comment | reply, and two offers: I did not try to have Antranikpasha banned. I tried to establish that the en.wp user was the same person vandalising user pages on other wiki's. I believe I even said something to the effect of "if Antranikpasha comes clean, I will support Antranikpasha not being banned". I have no reason to want anyone banned - I would like to see everyone happily working together.
When I said "fallen hero", I wasnt referring to one person - I was meaning the users who have been banned by arbcom due to AA, AA-2, or banned by the community. It irritates me that so many have been banned rather than rehabilitated. That is why I have been encouraging banned users to come and join Wikisource, where there is less "POV" problems, and we are in need of extra hands. I extend the same invitation to you. In regards to Wikisource, I am one of the most active users there[4], I think I am the most active admin (and have nominated the last four new admins (s:Wikisource:Administrators/Archives), so it shouldnt surprise you that I was the first on the scene. I was also the first to notice VartanM, and have been the only WS contributor to help him so far. If you were to create an account there, even if you used a username that I do not recognise, I would be probably be the first to welcome you as well. I'm a friendly guy, and Wikisource is a great project that I want to see grow. There are a number of actions that I have taken over the last year that people don't agree with, but that doesnt make me a bad admin, and that doesnt make me "involved". As far as I know, I havent even worked on the same article as Fedayee. I didnt block him to silence him; I blocked him for the repeated attacks on another editor. I had quickly looked at the evidence, found it insufficient, and told Fedayee to stop making accusations. He/She didnt do that; so, I blocked. Simple as that, except that grand theories have been created around that. I am not going to explain all "coincidences" here and now, as I have answered most of these questions already before. I am just trying to help where I can, and my door is open to anyone. I extend to you this deal -- if you sign up to Wikisource, and contribute 10 new pages, I will extensively document my "AA" involvement here on en.WP, and explain it as best I can -- if you contribute 1000 new pages to Wikisource, I will cease to take any further "admin action" on en.WP that relates to AA, if you still feel that is useful. See also User talk:VartanM/Archive3#Your custom "checkuser". |

12:48, 7 April 2008 | Talk:Erivan khanate | comment | Including the Turkish spelling: new section "An anon has been edit warring over the inclusion of Turkish spelling Revan Hanlığı on this article (and edit warring elsewhere), so I have semi-protected this article. I have reverted because there is a lot of talk discussion here that mentions Turkish history, and I dont think it hurts to include too many spellings. It might be useless information (most Wikipedia articles have snippets of useless information), but I fail to see why someone is getting so upset about it, which makes me suspicious it is nationalist editing. Any thoughts about the Turkish spelling?" |
